Pawel Stefanoff

Pawel Stefanoff is a medical epidemiologist. He obtained his Medical Degree in 1998 (Warsaw Medical University), a PhD degree in 2003 and a Master of Science in epidemiology in 2004 (State University of New York at Albany).
Pawel is currently employed at the Department of Zoonotic, Food- and Waterborne Infections of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. During 2012-2015 he worked as scientific coordinator of the European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET), based in the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. During 2000-2012, he worked in the National Institute of Public Health in Poland, where he was involved in the surveillance and research on vaccine-preventable disease. His main areas of expertise are vaccine-preventable disease surveillance, tick-borne diseases epidemiology and teaching. He is co-author of more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in international scientific journals
